SENA Internship Program

Stewardship and Ecology of Natural Areas (SENA)

Chicago Botanic Garden is launching a new internship program in 2023, recruiting 14 Ecological Restoration Technicians in five different roles:

Watershed Specialist, City of Decatur

Advances the Lake Decatur Watershed Management Plan, a multi-faceted program to increase conservation adoption in the watershed through the implementation of conservation practices to improve Lake Decatur water quality; provides technical support including field surveys, engineering, contractor oversight and related tasks for planning, permitting, design, installation, construction and inspection of conservation practices; assists with water quality improvement grant management.
